Seminar Overview

The Applied Physics Engine is the calculation layer underneath ChatETS and ETS Build: 164+ verified modules spanning beam deflection, contact stress, fatigue life, press-fit, spring rate, gear forces, bolt preload, and 150+ more, behind a structured, rate-managed API. This course makes your engineers fluent in using it directly.

Day one works the engineering: the core mechanics modules every plastics and product engineer needs, correct inputs and sanity ranges, and interpreting outputs. Day two covers access and integration: natural-language calculation routing, the API for scripts and spreadsheets, and embedding the engine as the verification layer for AI-assisted workflows.

Ideal Learner

  • Mechanical, product, and plastics engineers doing daily design calculations
  • Engineers tasked with verifying AI-generated analysis
  • Tool builders and IT staff integrating calculations into internal tools
  • Teams standardizing calculation methods across sites

Learning Objectives

  • Locate and run the right module across 24+ engineering domains
  • Set correct inputs and recognize out-of-range or misuse cases
  • Route calculations in natural language and via API
  • Embed verified calculations as the check layer for AI workflows
  • Standardize team calculation practice with a governed, rate-managed engine

Consulting Sessions

Seminar attendees can sign up for individual consulting sessions with the instructor. Sessions are free for registered attendees, first-come first-served — sign up when registering by calling 248-539-0473 or during the seminar.
