Operating conditions
Normal, maximum and minimum temperature, service life, loads, load time on and off. The inputs that decide creep, fatigue and resin choice.
Environment & exposure
Chemicals, moisture, temperature swings, direct and indirect sunlight. The environmental stress cracking and UV surprises start here.
Design requirements
Safety factor, tolerances, decorating, assembly method, sag and finish, written down before the geometry locks them in.
Performance specifications
What the part has to prove, and how, so validation isn’t invented after the tool is cut.

A fixed-price design review puts a senior engineer on the whole part: wall, draft, ribs, bosses, gates and undercuts, scored and marked up, from $3,500.
